Nebraska Appellate Courts Now Accept eFiling

The Nebraska Supreme Court and Court of Appeals are now
accepting electronic filing of court documents via the Appellate
Court eFiling online application. The system includes eFiling and
electronic service (eService) for attorneys and will eventually
offer electronic notice (eNotice) of court documents to attorneys
and self-represented litigants.
The Nebraska Court eFiling system is the one of the most
comprehensive state eFiling systems in the nation unifying every
court into a single online system. eFiling has saved the Nebraska
judicial system hundreds of thousands of dollars and months of time
through its ability to collect, validate and transfer data and
documents from anywhere, to any court, regardless of hours of
operation or jurisdictional lines. The Appellate Court eFiling
application handles paper documents, data input, review, filing,
and replying reducing the need for human interaction in the form of
data input.
By facilitating the upload of court documents, the application
handles much of the heavy lifting of managing court data. Templated
after the Nebraska Supreme Court eFiling system it allows users a
familiar interface to facilitate rapid adoption.
“The Nebraska Courts eFiling system has proven to be so
successful the addition of the Appellate Courts was naturally the
next step. We’re excited to bring these efficiencies to the state
and look forward to a continued productive partnership,” stated
Brent Hoffman General Manager of Nebraska Interactive.
