Directorate Change


The Directors of Secora plc are pleased to announce the appointment of Rupert
Howard Milton Horner, aged 45, as Group Finance Director and Secretary with
immediate effect.


Rupert qualified as a chartered accountant with KPMG in 1987 and has worked with
Richard Thompson, the Chief Executive of Secora, since 1988. He assisted Richard
in the purchase of the Jaeger and Viyella businesses from Coats Viyella in 2003,
realizing a significant profit from the subsequent sale of the businesses. He
also supported Richard in negotiations to take a majority investment in
Mackintosh Raincoats, which was also sold profitably in 2007. Rupert has
previous experience as a finance director of several public companies. He will
be responsible for the financial records of the Company and will be appointed to
the Remuneration Committee.


John Peter Wilson has agreed to step down as part time Finance Director in order
to pursue his own interests but he will continue to assist the Company for a
period of three months.


The Company is actively negotiating a number of new investment opportunities
which it hopes to conclude shortly and these opportunities are likely to be more
demanding on the Directors' time. John has been a tremendous support to the
Company but is unable to commit to the additional time required. The Board of
Secora would like to thank him for his loyalty and assistance.


John has agreed to cancel 125,000 options in the Company. He retains 25,000
options which have vested.


In accordance with Schedule 2 of the AIM Rules the Company discloses the
following:


Rupert Horner is the beneficial owner of 143,000 shares in the Company
representing 1.26 per cent of the current issued share capital.
