VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(CCNMatthews - May 24, 2007) - In compliance with AIM rules, Eastern
Platinum Limited ("Eastplats") (TSX:ELR)(AIM:ELR)(JSE:EPS) reports on the following transactions by
Directors in the Company's common shares.

On May 22, 2007, Mr. Ian Rozier, President and CEO of the Company notified the Company that he would
exercise his option to purchase 925,000 common shares in the Company at Cdn$1.70 per share.

On May 24th, 2007, Mr. David Cohen, Chairman of the Company, notified the Company that he would be
exercising his option to purchase 925,000 common shares in the Company at Cdn$1.70 per share.
