Crown Place VCT PLC announces that on 23 November 2006 it purchased, to be held
in treasury, 584,177 Ordinary 10p Shares (representing 0.7% of the issued Share
Capital), at a price of 39p per Ordinary Share.

Following the purchase of the 584,177 Ordinary Shares, the total number of
treasury shares held by the Company will be 7,056,830. The issued share capital
of the Company, less the total number of Ordinary Shares held in Treasury, will
be 79,043,043 Ordinary 10p Shares.
