Directorate Change
Bristol Water plc today announces changes to the Board of
Directors following the acquisition by Pennon Group plc of Bristol
Water Holdings UK Limited and its subsidiaries including Bristol
Water plc on 2 June 2021 and the subsequent decision on 7 March
2022 by the Competition and Markets Authority not to pursue a Phase
2 merger review.
Resignations
Keith Ludeman, Timothy Tutton, James McAuliffe and Jeremy
Bending are stepping down and have resigned as directors of Bristol
Water plc on 31 March 2022.
Appointments
Gill Rider, Claire Ighodaro and Jon Butterworth have been
appointed directors of Bristol Water plc with effect from 2 April
2022.
Gill Rider is an independent non-executive director of Pennon
Group plc, South West Water Limited, and Intertek Group plc. Gill
Rider is appointed Chair of the Board of Bristol Water plc.
Claire Ighodaro is an independent non-executive director of
Pennon Group plc, South West Water Limited, a non-executive
director of AXA XL Insurance Company UK Limited, AXA XL
Underwriting Agencies Limited, a member of XL Insurance Company SE
and non-executive Chair of the Audit Board of KPMG LLP.
Jon Butterworth is an independent non-executive director of
Pennon Group plc, South West Water Limited, a director of National
Grid Gas PLC, National Grid Metering Limited and National Gas
Museum Trust Limited.
