Wirecard AG said late Wednesday that its subsidiary Wirecard Bank AG has appointed Joerg Brand to its management board.

The German digital-payment services company said Mr. Brand, whose appointment has been reviewed and approved from the German Federal Financial Supervisory Authority BaFin, will be responsible for the risk management division of the bank.

Mr. Brand joins from First Data GmbH, where he served as spokesman of the management board.
