Investment company Exor NV said Thursday that it swung to a loss in 2020 due to lower results from operating subsidiaries as it took a hit from the coronavirus pandemic.

Exor posted a net loss for the year of 30 million euros ($35.4 million) compared with a net profit of EUR3.05 billion the year prior.

Net asset value rose on-year to $29.50 billion, from $26.16 billion as of Dec 31, 2019, Exor said.

The company also said its board of directors has put forward a proposal to approve the payment of a EUR0.43 dividend, for a total of about EUR100 million. This is unchanged from the dividend paid for 2019.
