                FINAL DIVIDEND FOR THE YEAR ENDED 30 APRIL 2003

Further to the announcement this morning of Northgate plc's results for the year
ended 30 April 2003, the final dividend of 11.1p, if approved by shareholders at
the Annual General Meeting to be held on 9 September 2003, will be paid on 11th
September 2003 to shareholders on the register at close of business on 8th
August 2003.
