Spirit AeroSystems and Air Europa Sign Spare Parts Agreement

WICHITA, Kan., June 3, 2011 /CNW/ -- Spirit AeroSystems, Inc.
(NYSE: SPR) and Air Europa Lineas Aereas, S.A.U announced the
signing of a supply agreement whereby Spirit will supply thrust
reverser, fuselage and wing components for Air Europa's fleet of
Boeing 737 and 767 aircraft. This multi-year contract will enable
Air Europa to obtain predictable and competitive pricing for all
spare parts in the Spirit catalog while ensuring availability for
key parts and components. "Supply agreements such as these
underscore Spirit's commitment to customer fleet support," said Rod
Cheatham, Interim Vice President/General Manager, Aftermarket
Customer Support. "As the original producer for the majority of the
737 Next-Generation airframe and the 41 section, pylon and nacelles
for the 767, this spare parts agreement highlights the confidence
our customers have in Spirit's supply and support capabilities."
