EagleBank is proud to announce the addition of three new members,
John Akridge, IV, George Chopivsky, III and Brad Mendelson, to its
District of Columbia Board, and two new members, Susan Gabay and
Robert Malm, to its Northern Virginia Advisory Board. These
Advisory Boards help generate more one-on-one communications and
insight into the needs of local businesses. Members provide
valuable feedback as they interact with bank management and their
own various and specific business segments.

District of Columbia Advisory Board:
John Akridge, IV, Founder, Height
Analytics—provides investment analysis in key regulated sectors by
integrating fundamental and policy research to better understand
the financial impact across the capital structure. As an
independent firm, they are unburdened by traditional investment
banking bureaucracies, allowing them to provide unbiased,
predictive analysis. Akridge was Head of Arlington Sales Trading at
FBR Capital Markets and spent eleven years on the trading desk.
George Chopivsky, III, Vice President—Mid
Atlantic Region, Simpson Housing, LLP—a national fully-integrated
real estate firm that is focused on developing, acquiring, and
operating multifamily apartment communities across the
country. Chopivsky is a graduate of Yale University.
Brad L. Mendelson, CPA,
MST, Principal, Mendelson & Mendelson—a
CPA firm in Potomac, Maryland that offers a wide
range of accounting and tax services to
individuals and business clients. Mendelson earned a
Bachelor of Science in Management from
Tulane University's Freeman School of Business in New Orleans,
LA, and a Master of Science in Taxation from
American University's Kogod School of Business.
Northern Virginia Advisory Board:
Susan M. Gabay, Managing Director and Founder,
Bluestone Capital Partners—directs key client relationships and
oversees transaction execution for the firm's client
engagements. With more than 13 years of Wall Street and
middle-market investment banking experience, Gabay has focused
primarily on advising companies, investors, and executives
operating in the aerospace/defense, information technology, and
professional and technical services markets. Gabay was
previously a senior vice president with BB&T Capital
Markets|Windsor Group, and also worked with Goldman Sachs Group,
Inc. in New York. Gabay is a graduate of Duke University.
Robert Malm, Managing Partner, BeaconCrest
Homes—is a luxury homebuilder in the Nation's Capital
area. Malm, a native of the Washington, D.C. metropolitan
area, is a second generation family homebuilder, who began learning
the craft at an early age with Craftmark Homes and Craftstar Homes.
Malm is a graduate of Virginia Tech University.
Comprised of individuals well known in their respective fields,
the Advisory Boards provide EagleBank with their
