             Acquisition of Swift Asbestos (Holdings) Ltd ("Swift")


Silverdell, a leading UK wide supplier of asbestos contracting and consultancy
services, today announces the acquisition of the entire issued share capital of
Swift, a well established licensed asbestos remediation contractor based in
Southampton, for an estimated consideration of #1.5m payable in cash, including
approximately #0.2m of cash and #0.4m of property. The EBITDA for Swift in the
unaudited management accounts for 10 months to 31 July 2007 was #0.2m.


Swift is being acquired by Silverdell (UK) Limited ("SUK"), a wholly owned
subsidiary of the Company, and its operations will be incorporated into those of
SUK, allowing SUK to benefit from a number of cost synergies including the
sharing of resources, combined purchasing power and the local sourcing of 
labour. Swift will be rebranded "Silverdell".


Having achieved its initial strategic goal of providing asbestos remediation and
consultancy services on a nationwide basis, the acquisition of Swift provides
the Company with a strong presence in a specific geographic market, the South
Coast, together with experience in the hotel and leisure sector.

as Bow Lane Capital Plc in April 2006. In July 2006 it acquired Silverdell (UK)
Limited for up to #22.2m, following which it changed its name to Silverdell Plc.
The Company acquired Redhill Analysts Limited, a provider of asbestos
consultancy, survey, air monitoring and contract management services, in
December 2006 for up to #10m. In July 2007, Silverdell acquired Kitsons Group
Limited, which provides asbestos removal, insulation and scaffolding services
for #14m.


The Silverdell group employs nearly 600 staff operating from 15 offices across
the UK. Silverdell (UK) Limited won Specialist Contractor of the Year (Asbestos
Removal) at Construction News Awards in both 2006 and 2007.
