    The Board is pleased to announce that at the EGM held on 28 August 2008, the shareholders of Promethean India plc (the "Company") voted
in favour of changing the name of the Company to Elephant Capital Plc. 

    Accordingly the Board will be changing the name of the Company to Elephant Capital plc. The Company will inform the market when the
change of name has taken effect.
