Result of the Extraordinary General Meeting ("EGM")

The Board of Morant Wright Japan Income Trust Limited announce that at the EGM of the Company held today, 15th December 2010, the Liquidation Resolution put forward before the meeting was approved by Shareholders. In accordance with the passing of the Liquidation Resolution, the Company has been placed into voluntary liquidation and Mr James Robert Toynton of Grant Thornton Limited, has been appointed as liquidator to the Company.

The cancellation of listing on the London Stock Exchange of the Company's Shares will take place at 8.00am on 16th December 2010.

Terms used in this announcement have the same meaning as those set out in the circular to Shareholders dated 24th November 2010.

A copy of the Liquidation Resolution will be submitted to the National Storage Mechanism and will shortly be available for inspection at: www.Hemscott.com/nsm.do
