                                          Issue of shares

European Minerals Corporation announces that it has issued 454,479 common shares of no par value
following the exercise of 200,000 stock options at prices of Cdn$0.84 and US$0.37 per share and
issue of 254,479 at US$0.98 per share by way of fee settlement.

Application has been made for these shares to be admitted to trading on AIM and it is expected
that admission will occur on 12 June 2008.
