          BKN International AG: New Credit Facility and Bond Repayment


BKN, is pleased to announce that, today, it has secured a new credit facility 
with Commerzbank in Cologne on attractive terms and conditions.  The Euro 5 
million unsecured facility carries a 5 year term and a 6.3% fixed interest rate.

The Company has chosen to repay in full the Euro 3.2 million convertible bond 
issued in 2006 to Anacapa Funding 1, LLC as it carried a significantly higher 
interest rate, currently 10.25%.

Wayne Mowat, Chief Financial Officer of BKN said, "This new financing will help
to significantly reduce the Company's interest costs as well as avoiding the 
potential dilution of issued shares from the conversion of the Anacapa note into 
shares, and therefore is a win-win for the Company and its shareholders."
