The Board of Amstrad plc announces today the appointment ,with effect from 1
December 2003, of Mr John Beattie as an executive director of Amstrad plc in the
role of Production Director. Mr Beattie has worked for Amstrad for 24 years and
has extensive manufacturing experience across a range of products.
