BRUSSELS (Dow Jones)-The European Commission has postponed by a month a deadline to analyze Anglo-Dutch consumer goods giant Unilever PLC's (ULVR.LN) planned purchase of Sara Lee Corp.'s (SLE) personal care unit, it said on its website.

The commission, the European Union's antitrust watchdog, has set Nov. 25 as the new deadline, extended from Oct. 26, as it is studying potential divestments the two companies have offered to undertake to get the commission's antitrust clearance.
