Chile Codelco January-September Copper Output Falls 5% to 1.19 Million Tons

SANTIAGO, Chile--Copper output at Chilean state copper company
Codelco's wholly owned mines fell 5% in the first nine months of
2012 to 1.19 million tons, Chief Executive Thomas Keller said
Thursday.
Codelco's total January-September production, which includes
output from the El Abra mine controlled by Freeport-McMoRan Copper
& Gold Inc. (FCX) and the Sur complex controlled by Anglo
American PLC (AAUKY), fell to 1.25 million tons from 1.29 million
tons the same period of 2011.
