Freeport Sees 2011 Copper Sales At 3.85 Million Pounds

Sales of copper from the operations of Freeport McMoRan Copper
& Gold Inc. (FCX) are projected to reach around 3.85 billion
pounds in 2011, slightly under the 3.9 billion pounds achieved in
2010, the company said Thursday.
Sales of gold are forecast at 1.4 million troy ounces, down from
1.9 million ounces in 2010, while molybdenum sales are expected to
reach 70 million pounds, up from 67 million pounds last year.
First quarter sales are projected at 840 million pounds of
copper, 325,000 ounces of gold and 17 million pounds of
molybdenum.
