OPNET Announces Record Early Registrations, Speakers, and Alliance Partners for OPNETWORK 2005

OPNET Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ:OPNT), a leading provider of
management software for networks and applications, today announced
record early registrations and industry participation for its
annual technology conference, OPNETWORK 2005, which focuses on
intelligent analysis of networks, applications, and systems. Based
on initial registrations, OPNET expects that the five-day event
will attract a record number of attendees from corporate
enterprises, government agencies, service providers, and network
equipment manufacturers from all over the world. The event is being
held at the Ronald Reagan Building in Washington, D.C. from August
22-26. The conference will feature over 500 hours of sessions
covering a wide range of topics including application performance
management, network configuration analysis, capacity planning, and
modeling and simulation. Approximately 1,500 people attended last
