CARMEL, Ind., Aug. 29 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- ADESA executives
and staff today joined Lee's Summit Mayor Karen Messerli, customers
and dignitaries at a ground-breaking ceremony for a major
construction project that will replace the existing ADESA Kansas
City auction with a new state-of-the-art facility. The new auction
will be located on a 196-acre parcel located just south of the
existing facility in Lee's Summit, Missouri. The groundbreaking
caps off a flurry of activity at ADESA Kansas City where more than
2,000 cars and trucks were offered during the preceding week to
dealers at wholesale auction events to commemorate the milestone.

"This new facility will not only help us to meet future growth in
the Kansas City market, but will also allow us to improve the
service we're able to provide our auction partners here on a daily
basis," said Dave Gartzke, Chairman and CEO of ADESA, Inc. "ADESA
is committed to meeting the needs of our customers and to making
sure the auction experience for our dealers is second to none. This

property for redevelopment." When completed, the new ADESA Kansas
