Hewlett-Packard Co. (HPQ) or H-P recently unveiled a host of all-in-one (AiO) PCs, aimed at Android powered devices.

The new offering provides faster access to the web and is equipped with larger displays. Featuring a 21.5-inch IPS Full HD touchscreen, with Android 4.3, NVIDIA Corp. (NVDA) Tegra 4 quad core processor, 1 GB RAM and 8GB internal memory, the PCs provide enhanced performance with secure connectivity. The latest products also provide access to Google (GOOG) Play Store.

The company’s latest offerings include HP Slate21 Pro AiO, the HP ProOne 400 AiO G1, the HP 205 AiO and HP Z1 G2 that features a high-definition (HD) screen for an enhanced web experience and high-quality visuals. Moreover, the offering is expected to simplify the cloud-computing environment thereby making it more simple, efficient and cost effective.

In addition, the new offering will add variety to its existing product portfolio, which in turn will help H-P to attract more customers, thereby increasing its market share, going forward. The AiO PCs are budget-friendly, flexible as well as reliable and help users to integrate information from a variety of sources.

We also believe that the new offerings from H-P will reduce the complexity associated with the management of IT assets and consumer electronics, in accordance with environmental and data security regulations.

Priced at $399, the HP Slate Pro AiO is now available in the United States. The HP ProOne 400 AiO non-touch is available globally for $649 whereas the HP 205 AiO is available in selected countries for $449.

H-P is expanding its product portfolio to gain further traction in the PC business. According to IDC, PC shipments are forecast to increase 0.4% in 2017, primarily due to growth in emerging markets that will likely offset the lower PC shipments in the mature markets. However, the lack of new and enhanced applications could pose challenges.

Additionally, increasing competition from companies like Accenture plc (ACN) and Oracle Corp. coupled with continuing macroeconomic challenges and tepid IT spending will pose challenges, going forward.

Currently, H-P has a Zacks Rank #3 (Hold).
