The  Board of Core VCT V plc  notes that the mid-market Stock Exchange quotation 
for  the Company's shares has today  increased by 27.1% from 24p to 30.5p.  This 
increase  is solely  due to  there now  being only  one market maker pricing the 
stock  which has  moved the  bid/offer spread.   The Board  is not  aware of any 
material  change in  the underlying  net asset  value nor  of any other material 
information that has not already been announced to the market
