US Futures, European Stocks Drop

U.S. futures for the S&P 500 were down 0.6% and futures for
the Dow Jones Industrial Average decreased 0.5%. Changes in futures
do not necessarily predict movements after the opening bell.
In Europe, the Stoxx Europe 600 fell 0.8% in morning trading.
Viaplay Group Series B rose 30.6% and Ocado Group climbed 4.9%. On
the other hand, DocMorris slipped 4.7%, and Rightmove lost 4.5%.
The FTSE 100 lost 0.6%. Other stocks in Europe were down as
France's CAC 40 declined 0.8% and Germany's DAX dropped 0.9%.
The Wall Street Journal Dollar Index climbed 0.4% to 97.51.
In commodities, Brent crude was flat at $78.15 a barrel, and WTI
crude was flat at $72.43 a barrel.
The German 10-year Bund yield declined by 1 basis point to
2.226% from 2.238%, and the yield on the 10-year U.S. Treasury
climbed by 5 basis points to 3.993% from 3.944%. Bond prices and
yields move in opposite directions.
Stocks in Asia were mixed as Japan's Nikkei 225 index declined
0.8%, whereas Hong Kong's Hang Seng dropped 2.2%. China's benchmark
Shanghai Composite gained 0.3%.
