GALLEON SIGNS AGREEMENT FOR CARTOON CHARACTER TO FRONT AUSTRALIAN SAFE-SURFING
                                   INITIATIVE

Galleon Holdings plc ('Galleon'), the AIM-quoted, cross-media company today
announces that it has signed a licensing agreement with Surfing Australia for
the use of 'Bondi Bruce', a character from its television property OGGIES, for
an Australian Government backed campaign called 'UNLEASHED AUSTRALIA' aimed at
encouraging children to take up surfing. The agreement will also see the
character spearhead the 'Bondi Bruce Super Grommet Championship' (a national
competition to be held throughout Australia during Summer 2004).

Bruce stars alongside Fistral Freddie, Porthmeor Pete, Malibu Mike and a whole
host of other characters in the television series now in production, which is
due to air on UK television next year.

The license incorporates merchandising and sponsorship rights and will run for
an initial period of three years. Galleon will receive 75% of all revenues
generated by 'UNLEASHED AUSTRALIA'. Galleon is currently in negotiation to
appoint a licensing agent for the territory.

"The campaign is being actively supported by the Australian Government as part
of its own 'Pathways to Participation' initiative," explained Jim Driscoll,
Chairman of Galleon Holdings and creator of OGGIES. "We have always believed
OGGIES to have international appeal and this alliance with Surfing Australia
helps confirm our view."

"The programme has taken a full year to reach this point, and we are now working
with a select number of companies in Cornwall, many more nationally throughout
the UK, and certain key international partners."

Like the partnership between Fistral Freddie and the British Surfing
Association, 'UNLEASHED AUSTRALIA', the Official Bondi Bruce Surfing Academy
will also offer branded technical surfing equipment and relevant merchandise.
Mirroring the wetsuits, surfboards, body boards, surfboard leashes and other
products available from Tunnel Vision in Newquay, 'Bondi Bruce' branded product
will be available to young surfers on the other side of the world.

Driscoll concluded: "The success of Fistral Freddie Surf Academy in the UK has
proved that our characters strike the right chord with the surfing community.
Surfing is one of the world's fastest growing participation sports and we want
to encourage as many children as possible to pick up a surf board, but to do it
safely and with the right instruction. With surf academies in place in Britain
and Australia, we're helping young surfers across the globe.
