Centrais Elétricas Brasileiras S/A (“Company”
or “Eletrobras”) (B3: ELET3, ELET5 & ELET6; NYSE: EBR & EBR.B; LATIBEX: XELT.O & XELT.B) hereby informs its shareholders
and the market in general, in compliance with item XXX of article 30 of CVM Instruction 480/09, as amended, that on this date, the Eletrobras
Board of Directors approved the election of Jerônimo Antunes as member and coordinator of the Statutory Audit and Risk Committee
(“CAE”).
Mr. Jerônimo Antunes has a Master's and Doctorate
in Accounting Sciences in the area of Controllership
and Accounting Concentration from the University of São Paulo (1998 and 2005, respectively) and a degree in Business Administration
(1981) and Accounting Sciences from the Faculty of Accounting Sciences São Judas Tadeu (1987). Mr. Jeronimo Antunes was Independent
Board Member and Chairman of the Audit Committees and member of the Nomination, Compensation and Succession Committee of Petrobras, BR
Distribuidora and companies of the Petrobras Conglomerate, in addition to having served as Independent Board Member and President of the
Audit Committee of SABESP, Board Member of Paranapanema, Board Member and Director of the Brazilian Institute of Independent Auditors
- IBRACON. He is currently a doctoral professor at the University of São Paulo, an Independent Board Member and Chairman of the
Audit Committees of Metrô SP, Desenvolve SP and Cia. Müller de Bebidas, member of the Audit Committees of BRF, IRB-Brasil Resseguros
and Paranapanema and member of the Fipecafi Board of Trustees. He has experience in the field of Administration, with an emphasis on Accounting
Sciences, acting mainly in the following activities: independent auditing, business consulting, accounting expertise, economic valuation
of companies, coordination of audit committees and board member.
Thus, the aforementioned body now has 5 (five) members,
all considered independent, according to art. 22 of Law 13,303 of June 30, 2016, namely:
• Jerônimo Antunes (Coordinator and Member of
the Board of Directors)
• Daniel Alves Ferreira (Member of the Board of Directors)
• Felipe Villela Dias (Member of the Board of Directors)
• Luís Henrique Bassi Almeida (External member)
• Luiz Carlos Nannini (External Member).
