Annual Report and Notice of AGM
Lords, a leading distributor of building materials in
the UK, announces that electronic copies of its Annual Report and
Financial Statements for the year ended 31 December 2023, together
with the 2024 Notice of Annual General Meeting, are now available
from the Company's website at:
www.lordsgrouptradingplc.co.uk/financials/annual-interim-reports
and
www.lordsgrouptradingplc.co.uk/investors/shareholder-information,
respectively.
Hard copies of the 2023 Annual Report and Financial
Statements and 2024 Notice of Annual General Meeting have also been
posted to shareholders today.
The Annual General Meeting ('AGM') will be held at
1:00 p.m. on Thursday, 20 June 2024 at the offices of Cavendish, 1
Bartholomew Close, London, EC1A 7BL.
To facilitate shareholder engagement, the proceedings
of the AGM will be broadcast via the Investor Meet Company
platform. Shareholders will be able to follow the proceedings
of the AGM online over the Investor Meet Company platform by
registering in advance via the following link:
www.investormeetcompany.com/lords-group-trading-plc/register-investor.
Shareholders are invited to submit any questions in
respect of the business of the AGM for the Board to consider.
Questions may be submitted in advance via the Investor Meet Company
dashboard, or at any time during the AGM over the Investor Meet
Company platform following registration, and the Board will aim to
respond to any such questions relevant to the business of the
AGM.
Shareholders are encouraged to vote on the
resolutions to be put to the AGM by proxy whether or not they
intend to attend. Voting by proxy prior to the AGM does not affect
shareholders' right to attend the AGM and vote in person should
they so wish.
Shareholders will not receive a hard copy form of
proxy for the 2024 AGM in the post. Instead, they will be able to
vote electronically using the link www.signalshares.com or via a
shareholder app: LinkVote+ available to download on the Apple App
Store and Google Play. Institutional investors may also be able to
appoint a proxy electronically via the Proxymity platform. Proxies
may also be appointed via a CREST proxy instruction. Proxy votes
must be received no later than 1:00 p.m. on 18 June 2024. Please
refer to the "Notes" section of the Notice of AGM for further
details on how to vote by proxy.

Lords is a specialist distributor of
building, plumbing, heating and DIY goods. The Group
principally sells to local tradesmen, small to medium sized
plumbing and heating merchants, construction companies and retails
directly to the general public.
The Group operates through the
following two divisions:
· Merchanting: supplies building
materials and DIY goods through its network of merchant businesses
and online platform capabilities. It operates both in the
'light side' (building materials and timber) and 'heavy side'
(civils and landscaping), through 31 locations in the
UK.
· Plumbing and Heating: a specialist
distributor in the UK of plumbing and heating products to a UK
network of independent merchants, installers and the general
public. The division offers its customers an attractive
proposition through a multi-channel offering. The division
operates over 17 locations enabling nationwide next day delivery
service.
Lords was established over 35 years
ago as a family business with its first retail unit in Gerrards
Cross, Buckinghamshire. Since then, the Group has grown to a
business operating from 48 sites.
Lords was admitted to trading on AIM
