                               DIRECTORS DEALING                               

The board of the Company announces that Peter Hammonds, a director of the
Company, has been granted options over 200,000 ordinary shares in the Company.
The options may be exercised at any time from the second anniversary of grant
to the tenth anniversary of grant at a price of 12 pence per share.

As at the date of this announcement Mr Hammonds also has an interest over
35,000 ordinary shares in the Company representing 0.21 per cent. of the issued
share capital.

In addition, the Company has granted the same number of options on the same
terms to James Bloomfield, an employee of the Company's subsidiary, PG
Industries Limited.
