WARRANT ISSUE


Griffin Mining Limited today announces a bonus issue of warrants on the basis
of 1 warrant for every 10 ordinary shares held on the register on 9th November
1999. Each warrant will entitle the holder to subscribe for one new ordinary
share of the Company at 9 pence per ordinary share on or before 13 January
2000. The record date for the issue of warrants will be 9 November 1999. The
ex dealing date for the warrants will be 10 November 1999. The warrants will
be non transferable and will not be admitted to trading on the Alternative
Investment Market or the Canadian Dealing Network.
