It also provides insurance and reinsurance intermediary services of marine and non-marine insurance, such as professional insurance brokerage services comprising risk assessment and analysis, designing insurance and reinsurance programmes, discussing insurance coverage, reviewing insurance policies, and claims adjustment and handling solutions. In addition, the company is involved in the provision of green, low-carbon, and digital intelligent solutions for the full-life cycle of the shipping industry, as well as trades in, stores, processes, and supplies asphalt and other products. The company was formerly known as COSCO International Holdings Limited and changed its name to COSCO SHIPPING International (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd. in November 2016. The company was incorporated in 1992 and is headquartered in Central, Hong Kong.
