Sterling Publishing Group Plc announces that it has applied for 694,443 new
ordinary 5p shares to be admitted to trading on the Official List.  The shares
are being issued in satisfaction of the final tranche, amounting to
approximately #50,000, of the initial consideration payable pursuant to the
acquisition of Analysis and Networking Limited announced on 14 March 2003.  It
is expected that admission will take place and dealings will commence on 7
November 2003.
