LOUIS, April 5, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Patriot Coal Corporation (NYSE: PCX) today announced that it received the annual Interstate Mining Compact Commission National Mine Reclamation Award in the Coal Category.  The award was presented for reclamation of land at the Company's Patriot Surface Mine in the Bluegrass complex, located in Henderson County, Kentucky.  In particular, the reclamation of this site included significant acreage that will become part of the Henderson County Park system, as well as nearly 800 acres of prime farmland.
