management solutions, has formally launched its Global Technical
Services (GTS(SM)) division in Mexico to more effectively manage large and
complex claims from the growing insurance market in the region.

adjusters in the country, recently marked the GTS launch with a
conference for the insurance and reinsurance market held at the
Club France in Mexico City. About

in the event.

The conference featured several presentations on Crawford capabilities. Mike Skingsley, head of international
construction for GTS and liaison for Crawford's Latin American operations in the
London market, discussed
international construction and engineering losses.
Also presenting were GTS Senior Vice President Andries Willemse, who spoke about Crawford's response to last year's
catastrophes in Japan and
Thailand, and Executive General
Adjuster Marc Godfrey, who discussed renewable energy. Kimsi gave a
presentation on handling catastrophic claims for government
entities and also gave an overview of operations in the
country.
To more effectively coordinate large loss adjusting services in
Latin America, Crawford recently established six GTS hubs in
the region. In addition to Mexico
City, those hubs are located in Buenos Aires, Argentina; Sao Paulo, Brazil; Santiago, Chile; Panama City, Panama; and Lima,
Peru.
