Wisconsin teenagers preparing for their driver’s license written exam can now use an iPad or tablet device to study, thanks to the new Wisconsin DMV Driver Practice Test. Launched in conjunction with National Teen Driver Safety Week by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation Division of Motor Vehicles and the State’s portal partner, Wisconsin Interactive Network, the driver license practice test can now be downloaded at http://www.drivertest.dot.wi.gov and through the Android Market and iTunes.

The practice test is free of charge, and can be used to prepare teens or anyone taking the driver’s license written test. Questions cover a variety of topics and include multiple choice answers to questions, such as, “As you approach an intersection with a flashing yellow light: a) Stop before crossing through, b) Slow down and proceed with caution, or c) Wait for a green light.” The practice test also directs users to where the information can be found within the Wisconsin DMV’s Motorists’ Handbook.
