                          INTERIM DIVIDEND DECLARATION 
 
 
The Directors have resolved to declare a second interim dividend of 2.85 pence 
per share (2008: final dividend 2.73 pence per share) in lieu of recommending a 
final dividend for the year ending 31 December 2009 to ordinary shareholders who 
are registered at the close of business on 9 April 2010.  Thus the total 
dividend for the year ending 31 December 2009 is 3.75 pence per share (2008: 
3.63 pence per share) - an increase of 3.3%. 
 
The Directors propose that ordinary shareholders be offered the right to elect 
to receive new ordinary shares in lieu of the cash interim dividend. 
 
Shares will go ex dividend on 7 April 2010 and the record date is 9 April 2010.
