Rule 2.10 Announcement - Relevant Securities in Issue

In accordance with Rule 2.10 of the City Code on Takeovers and Mergers, the Company announces that following the 
exercise of options referred to below, it has 21,912,692 ordinary shares of 25p each in issue. The International 
Securities Identification Number for the Company's ordinary shares is GB0005814537.

The Company has applied to the UK Listing Authority for 307,178 ordinary shares of 25p each, which were issued pursuant 
to the exercise of 1998 Company Share Option Plan options to be admitted to the Official List, and to trading on the 
London Stock Exchange. These shares will rank pari passu with the existing ordinary shares of the Company and dealings 
are expected to commence on 14 April 2005.
