Placing

Medisys PLC ("Medisys" or the "Group") announces that it has today issued 5
million new ordinary shares by way of placing at 24.5p, raising approximately
#1.2 million net of expenses.  The new shares issued represent approximately
2.7% of the issued ordinary share capital of the Group.  Proceeds from the
sale will be used for general corporate purposes.
