Appointment of Michael Barry

The Directors of Medisys PLC ("Medisys") announced on 14 December 1998 that
Michael Barry will join the board with effect from 18 January 1999.  Further
to that Mr Barry confirms the following:

In the past five years he has been a director of

-       Fountainhead Holdings Ltd

Mr Barry further confirms that there is no further information relating to
himself which is required to be disclosed under paragraph 16.11(e) of the AIM
Admission Rules.
