                                          Issue of shares

European Minerals Corporation announces that it has issued 150,000 common shares of no par value
following  the exercise of 100,000 stock options at Cdn$0.84 per share and 50,000 stock options at
Cdn$1.26 per share.

Application has been made for these shares to be admitted to trading on AIM and it is expected
that admission will occur on 22 January 2008.  Following the admission of the above shares, the
Company's total issued share capital will be 303,027,981 each with voting rights.
