External Appointment

Pursuant to the Financial Conduct Authority's Listing Rule 9.6.14R(2) the Company notifies the market that, as announced by Allfunds Group plc (Allfunds) on 21 March 2022, David Bennett, Chairman of the Company, is to be appointed an independent non-executive director of Allfunds subject to shareholders' approval at the Allfunds 2022 Annual General Meeting. If approved, Mr Bennett will be further appointed as new Chair of the Allfunds board with effect from 21 April 2022.

Additionally, as announced by Ashmore Group plc (Ashmore) on 21 March 2022, Mr Bennett will be stepping down both as a non-executive director and Chair of Ashmore on 20 April 2022.
