    CLOSE SECOND AIM VCT PLC


    The Board of Close Second AIM VCT PLC announces that as at 9 July 2008, the unaudited net asset value of the Ordinary shares was
approximately 34.43 pence per share. The Board declared a dividend of 1.00 pence per share in the year end accounts to 29 February 2008. The
shares became ex-dividend on 9 July 2008. The dividends will be paid on 8 August 2008 to shareholders on the register as at 11 July 2008.

    The Board of Close Second AIM VCT PLC also announces that as at 9 July 2008, the unaudited net asset value of the C and D shares was
approximately 80.54 pence per share. The Board declared a dividend of 1.00 pence per share in the year end accounts to 29 February 2008. The
shares became ex-dividend on 25 June 2008. The dividends will be paid on 25 July 2008 to shareholders on the register as at 27 June 2008.

    The unaudited net asset values above account for these dividends.
