Admission to trading on the Specialist Fund Market

Further to the announcement issued on 11 April 2014, Africa Opportunity Fund Limited (the "Company") is pleased to announce that 29,200,000 C Shares and 42,630,327 Ordinary Shares will today be admitted to trading on the London Stock Exchange's Specialist Fund Market ("SFM"). Admission to the SFM will become effective, and dealings in both the Ordinary Shares and C Shares will commence, at 8:00 a.m. on 17 April 2014. Details of the securities are as follows:

The Company's Ordinary Shares shall have their current admission on the London Stock Exchange's AIM market cancelled. This cancellation is scheduled to take place today at 8:00 a.m.

It is expected that the C Shares will be credited to Euroclear / Clearstream accounts in uncertificated form as soon as practicable after 8:00 a.m. today and that definitive share certificates will be dispatched to the relevant Shareholders during the week commencing 28 April 2014.
