ANNOUNCEMENT OF COMPLETION OF ADDITIONAL EQUITY TRANSACTION

Wales & West Utilities Finance plc (the "Company") announces that, following the successful closing of the inaugural private placement issuance by West & Western Midco Finance plc as announced on 3 November 2023, GBP197 million as additional equity has been down streamed to Wales & West Utilities Limited ("WWU"). This is in addition to (i) GBP759 million of equity received by WWU to replace an equivalent amount repaid to certain loan note holders affiliated with its indirect shareholders, as announced on 26 September 2023; and (ii) GBP147 million of additional equity received by WWU as announced on 9 October 2023.
