     Volt Information Sciences, Inc. Savings Plan (the “Registrant”) is unable to file its Annual Report on Form 11-K (the “Form 11-K”) for the period ended December 31, 2010 within the prescribed time period without unreasonable effort or expense.  The Registrant had delays in the collection of information for the preparation of its Form 11-K.  The Registrant will file the Form 11-K on or before the fifteenth calendar day following the prescribed due date.
