SEC Grants Application of Plymouth Rubber Company, Inc. to withdraw its Common Stock from listing on the AMEX CANTON, Mass., Jan. 7 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Plymouth Rubber Company, Inc. (AMEX:PLR.AAMEX:PLR.B) today announced that the Securities and Exchange Commission, issued an order on January 6, 2005 granting the Company's application to withdraw the listing of its Class A Common Stock and Class B Common Stock on the American Stock Exchange. The order is effective at the opening of business on January 7, 2005. The Company is investigating the eligibility of either or both classes of stock for deregistration under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and the rules and regulations of the SEC, in which event the Company's obligation to file reports under Section 13 of the Exchange Act with the SEC could be terminated.
