The Company received the following notification from Lazard & Co., Limited.



                      "DISCLOSURE OF INTERESTS



We write to notify you of certain information pursuant to the requirement of
section 198 et seq., Part VI of the Companies Act l985 (the Act), that:



l.  On 7 January 2004, Lazard & Co., Limited ("Lazard") acquired an interest in
an aggregate total of 5,625,924 ordinary shares (the "Shares") in Coliseum Group
plc (the "Company"). Until 9 January 2004, the Shares comprised an interest
failing under section 208(5) of the Act.



2. On 9 January 2004, Lazard's interest in the Shares ceased to comprise an
interest falling under section 208(5) of the Act, however, Lazard remains
interested in the Shares. In relation to 1,042,339 Shares. this is technical
notification only as Lazard's interest, as from 9 January 2004, comprises an
exempt interest falling within section 209(8) of the Act.



3  So far as we are aware at the date hereof, the registered holder of the
Shares is WestLB Panmure Ltd a/c Printrad.



4. For the purposes of this disclosure, disclosure by Lazard additionally
includes Lazard LLC and Lazard & Co., Holdings Limited, which have subsidiary
interests in Lazard pursuant to section 203(3) of the Act.



This notice of interest is given in fulfilment of he obligations of each member
of the Lazard Group specified above under the requirements of the Act. This
notice constitutes separate notifications that have been combined solely for the
purposes of clarity and efficiency; it is not intended to indicate that any
members of the Lazard Group specified above act as a group or in concert with
respect to these interests."
