The company develops ATR-04, a genetically modified strain of S. epidermidis that is in a Phase 1/2 clinical trial for treating the papulopustular rash experienced by cancer patients undergoing epidermal growth factor receptor inhibitor targeted therapy; ATR-12, a genetically modified strain of S. epidermidis, which is in a Phase 1b/2a clinical trial for treating Netherton syndrome, a skin disease; and ATR-01, a genetically modified strain of S. epidermidis that expresses an engineered recombinant human filaggrin protein, which is in the IND-enabling phase for treating ichthyosis vulgaris, a skin disease. It has a joint development agreement with Bayer for the identification and characterization of S. epidermidis strains for topical formulations.
