REGINA, June 24, 2011 /CNW/ -- TSX.V: UVR REGINA, June 24, 2011 /CNW/ - Strategic Resources Inc. ("Strategic") regrets to advise that it has decided to suspend its exploration efforts in the Gallinas Mountains due to fire danger which has now reached new extremes. Strategic has been operating under very strict conditions in the project area. These conditions have included outfitting all equipment with spark arresting devices, having only pre-authorized personnel on site, and posting a fire watch observer on site during drilling operations. At the outset of this drilling program conditions were very dry. Persistent high winds and lack of moisture have now made conditions dangerously extreme. Strategic will initiate plans to resume its exploration activity in the area following the seasonal rains which should provide enough moisture to relieve the fire dangers. Strategic Resources is a Canadian based junior exploration company with uranium exploration projects in Catron County, New Mexico, Rare Earth exploration projects in Lincoln County and Socorro County, New Mexico and a Lithium prospect in Malheur County, Oregon.
