VANCOUVER, Jan. 15, 2015 /CNW/ - Tanzania Minerals Corp.
(the "Company" or "TZM") (TSX-V) (FRANKFURT: TM0.F)
The Company announces that the Company's AGM took place on
January 13, 2015. Motions were
carried:
- to appoint Davidson & Company LLP, Chartered Accountants as
Auditors for the ensuing year;
- to fix the number of Directors for the ensuing year at
four;
- to elect James Walchuck,
Robert Dzisiak, Ryan Walchuck, and Sidney Soronow as Directors of the Company;
- to adopt the 2014 Stock Option Plan as amended (subject to
approval of the TSX Venture Exchange); and
- to receive the financial statements of the Company and the
related auditors' reports for the fiscal year ended February 28, 2014.
The Company also announces that its Board of Directors has
accepted the resignation of Robert
Dzisiak as the Company's President and Chief Executive
Officer effective January 31,
2015. James Walchuck,
Chairperson of the Board of Tanzania Minerals Corp. stated, "We
thank Rob for his service to the Company in the role of
CEO".
An interim President and CEO will be appointed in the near
future.
