BETHLEHEM, Pa., July 31 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Students at Lehigh University can now enjoy nutritious food in an inviting atmosphere that nourishes body and mind in their campus' newly renovated Rathbone Dining Room. The renovation was managed by Sodexho (NYSE:SDX). The dining room reopened earlier this year, and is now a central point for students, offering an expanded selection of healthy foods, an outdoor seating area and, innovative architecture and design. Students at Lehigh are responding to the changes with rave reviews. For example, Rathbone's healthier and more extensive fresh food options gave Scott Wojciechowski, Lehigh's freshman class president, the tools he needed to lose more than 38 pounds. "Call it fate, but Rathbone re-opened as I turned over my new weight-loss leaf," Wojciechowski said. "I accomplished this with the help of the Fresh Choices option of salads, freshly made soups and made-to-order sandwiches. I am enjoying a big boost in self-confidence, and I'm finding new levels of optimism and joy in my daily experiences." "With all these changes, Rathbone has established itself as the place to see and be seen on campus," said Bruce Christine, Sodexho general manager at Lehigh University. "The new dining room shows Lehigh's priority to give students quality food and a holistic approach to gaining a healthy lifestyle, which is also one of Sodexho's key commitments to the students." Christine added that the new Rathbone dining room is an extension of Sodexho's healthy living and wellness program, Balance Mind, Body and Soul. The Balance program offers students web-based recipes, nutritional content of menu items and information about nutrition, wellness and healthy living, including topics such as dealing with stress, eating on the run, managing time and improving concentration. Students can log on to this website at kiosks located near the entrance to Rathbone. The new Rathbone now also includes a Balance food station, which features vegetarian and vegan dishes, and a variety of other new food stations. About Sodexho, Inc. Sodexho, Inc.
